These are some front-of-book pages I designed while Co-Design Director of TRIM Magazine, an award-winning fashion and lifestyle publication completely run by Rutgers University students.
During my internship with the Rutgers Football Recruiting Department, I produced a range of social media content from personalized recruitment posts for prospective high school athletes to promotional materials for the current college team.
What does sound look like? In order to visualize sound, I created 18x24 posters that play with the intensity of colors and proximity of shapes that set a certain mood for the viewer. Design elements, such as repetition, proximity and color, help create a parallel between the rhythm each sound produces auditorily versus what the rhythm could appear as visually. Essentially, it’s about creating a visual experience.
The following plaids are inspired by comic book character costumes. They were designed to not only look like the costume but also look like a plaid that their alter ego would wear.
The Betty White book is a compilation of Wikipedia articles. The 10 articles are connected by links in the articles, starting at Typography and ending with Betty White.

By using objects for an unintended purpose, I was able to create several works of art. From a 100-percent duct tape portrait of Walt Disney to a lamp made from a clarinet, I enjoy finding innovative ways to make people look at everyday objects in a new light.
